The Houston tennis team cruised past Liberty 8-1 on Monday.
Michael Castleman won his singles match 8-0, and Tyler Guynn and Samantha Jones were 8-1 winners. Andrew Finn had an 8-3 victory, and Michael Shea won 8-5.
The Tigers swept the three doubles matches.
Last Thursday, Houston was swept 9-0 at Willow Springs. The team was without four of its top five players due to a school function.
JV TENNIS: The doubles team of Drake Bell and Randy Barker earned Houston’s lone victory in a 2-1 loss Monday to Liberty.
