Wendall Cleo McCall, 71, died Wednesday, April 14, 2010, following complications from a farming incident.
He was born July 23, 1938, in Bucyrus, son of Oscar Cleo and Della Wilson McCall.
He met his wife, Alice, at the Cabool skating rink in 1956. They were married May 29, 1959.
He worked part-time for the post office and farmed about five miles north of Cabool. He retired as postmaster and began working for his son-in-law, Kevin, in the milk hauling business.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He beat cancer three times. He enjoyed donating his time and money.
Survivors include his wife, Alice; three children; Machelle, Valerie and Doug; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Darlene Lawrence, Maxine Hamilton and Bonnie Nichols; and extended family.
Services were Saturday, April 17, at Cabool First Baptist Church with Bro. Bob Marti officiating. Burial was in Cabool Cemetery under the direction of Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home.
