Kenneth Morgan, 55, died Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at his home in Hartshorn.
He was born Jan. 14, 1955, in Macon, son of Charley Franklin Morgan and Mae Louise Adair Morgan.
He attended college in Iowa and earned a master mechanic degree. He worked in Arkansas as a bridge maintenance person. He also worked as a mechanic.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing on the computer, looking for wild natural foliage in the fall and helping others.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Billy Joe and Bill; and a sister, Geraldine Bell.
Survivors include close friends, Sheri Smith and Whitney of Hartshorn; four children, Kenneth Morgan of Folson, La., Kenberly Baughman of Covington, Ala., Christiana Lamb of Arkansas and Brandon Morgan of Hannibal; a brother, Johnny Morgan of Elk Creek; six sisters, Bonnie Box of Michigan, Betty Adkins of St. Louis, Louise Baker of Quincy, Ill., Darline Christine of Blue Field, W.Va., Linda Begley of Palyra and Gayle Stringer of Hartshorn; eight grandchildren; and a host of other family members.
Memorial services are 11 a.m. Saturday, May 22, at Hartshorn Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Gary Steelman officiating. Services were under the direction of Bradford Funeral Home.
