A 68-year-old Licking man died Wednesday evening following an ATV accident east of his hometown. It’s the second fatality involving an all-terrain vehicle this week in the county.
Dead is Roy L. Bailey, who lost control on loose gravel on Cameron Road and was ejected, said Tpr. Dale Pounds of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Bailey was pronounced dead at the scene by Texas County Coroner Thomas Whittaker.
It is the 11th fatality in Troop G of the patrol this year. At this time last year, 19 had lost their lives.
