A Summersville man was killed Monday afternoon when his farm tractor was struck by a truck, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Brock R. Gaston, 23, was traveling westbound on Highway 106 just east of Summersville when the westbound truck driven by Andrew J. Swope, 42, of Nixa, struck it.
Gaston’s tractor overturned, throwing him, according to authorities. Mr. Gaston was pronounced dead at the scene by the Shannon County sheriff. Swope was transported to St. Francis Hospital in Mountain View.
