Vera Fay Cook, 58, died Saturday, May 22, 2010, at Texas County Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 5, 1951, in Success, daughter of Jesse Jack and Dollie Buckner. She and Charles M. Cook were married March 10, 1967.

She loved to draw, sew and play with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Vernon Buckner; and a sister, Linda Mae Buckner.

Survivors include her parents, Jesse Jack and Dollie Buckner; her husband of 43 years, Charles of the home; a daughter, Tracy Cook; a son, Travis Cook; three granddaughters; a grandson; two sisters, Pat Sullins and Mary Jane Sullins; four brothers, Gary Buckner, Herbert Buckner, Dean Buckner and Wayne Bucker of Licking; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services were Tuesday, May 25, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rodley Lewis officiating. Burial was in Craddock Cemetery.
