Charles M. Cook, 66, died Monday, June 21, 2010, at Phelps County Regional Medical Center.

He was born Sept. 9, 1943, son of Herbert and Gladys Cook.

He became disabled at a young age with rheumatoid arthritis. Prior to that, he enjoyed softball, hunting, fishing with his father and watching baseball.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Vera Faye Cook; and his father, Herbert.

Survivors include his mother, Gladys Cook; a daughter, Tracy Cook; a son, Travis Cook; three granddaughters; a grandson; three sisters, Margaret Little and Mary Kimrey of Licking and Cheryle Shores of Lockwood; three brothers, Roy Cook, Herbert Ray Cook and Bill Cook of Licking; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services were Thursday, June 24, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rodley Lewis officiating. Burial was in Craddock Cemetery.
