Houston officers handled a variety of calls during the last week.

HOUSTON, Mo. – A Houston man is charged with a burglary at a local business in April.

Texas County Prosecutor Mike Anderson charged Dallas M. Doyle, 32, 306 W. Chestnut St., with second-degree burglary and theft/stealing of more than $500 and less than $25,000.

Doyle’s arrest comes following a burglary at OK Tire on First Street in Houston.

A manager reported arriving at work and finding change strewn on the showroom floor.

Two window panes on the north side of the business was broken with rocks and the window unlocked.

A cash box secured with a padlock was missing. The loss was estimated at $1,000 in currency and checks. Included with that were some receipts.
