Miss Texas County Jennifer Terry was among winners in last week’s Miss Missouri Pageant.
Terry won the Show-Me Excellence Award, established in honor of the pageant’s 40th anniversary in Mexico, Mo., and she was awarded $200. She also won a $250 scholarship for the non-finalist talent award.
Miss Gateway to the West, Katy Reed, a Houston High School graduate, was among the top 10 finishers recognized.
Reed was awarded $150 for her placing in the evening wear preliminaries conducted last Wednesday night; Reed was awarded a $250 scholarship in honor of outgoing Miss Missouri 2009 Tara Osseck.
Miss Gateway St. Louis, Erika Hebron, won the crown.
