Andy Ramsey was born in Flora, Ill., on June 6, 1959 to Donald and Kay (Hall) Ramsey. Andy passed away at his home in Licking on July 5, 2010.
He was united in marriage to Ronda Ratliff on March 20, 1982, and to this blessed union came three wonderful children, Wayne, Janelle and Andrea.
Andy spent his life working hard to provide for his treasured family and living the life of a true cowboy. Putting others needs before his own seemed to be a way of life for Andy. Through the strong guidance and faith of his parents, Andy came to know Christ at a young age. With God by his side, he fought a courageous fight and forged a legacy that won’t soon be forgotten. Andy loved being a husband, father and PawPaw most of all. Of all of Andy’s hard work he took these the most serious and also enjoyed the most.
Andy was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents and a great niece, Caydence.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 28 years, Ronda; three children, Wayne Ramsey of the home, Janelle Ryberg and her husband, Matt, of Licking and his youngest daughter, Andrea Sullins and her husband, Joshua, of Beulah; a beloved grandson, Hunter Ryberg; two new grandbabies on the way; his loving parents, Don and Kay Ramsey; three loving brothers, Jerry and wife, Tammy, Curtis and wife, Julia, and Kent and wife, Billie, all of Licking; nine nephews; three nieces; eight great nephews; two great nieces; and many extended family members, friends and one faithful cowboy hat.
