Barbara Jeane Dowell Buckner, 66, died Saturday, July 10, 2010, at her home in Licking.
She was born Jan. 7, 1944, in Kansas City, daughter of Thomas Andrew Dowell and Ada Lou Walker Herdman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, a daughter and one son.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Joseph Buckner of Licking; six children; Joseph “Wayne” Buckner of Maysville, Joey Lynn “Mark” Buckner of Colorado, Chrispin Matthew Buckner of Kansas City, Kan., Steve Buckner and Melanie Buckner of Licking and Ronda Fox of Edgar Springs; a sister, Kandy Sue Clark of Westmoreland, Kan.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. The body was cremated under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
