A Houston woman is in jail again after a release two weeks earlier from prison, Houston police said.
Officers arrested Teresa A. Adkins, 39, 408 N. Grand, on a probation violation on Saturday. Adkins was found sitting outside with a plastic bag in one hand and a spray can of gold paint in the other, officers said. Police said she had traces of gold paint on her hands and face. Adkins was visibly incoherent and was not able to answer simply questions such as her date of birth.
Adkins was arrested and taken to the Texas County Jail. Records show she was on probation for passing bad checks and possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana.
In other matters, police:
-Arrested Shadrach D. Robertson, 17, Cabool, with failing to register a motor vehicle – displayed plates of another vehicle; and failure to exhibit an insurance identification card on July 10.
-Charged Alyssa D. Gettemeyer, 19, of 8175 Mineral Drive, with failure to register a motor vehicle – no plates; operated a motor vehicle with no valid operator’s license and failure to exhibit an insurance identification card on July 9.
