Barbara Louise Couchman, 55, of Raymondville, died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010, following a battle with cancer.
She was born Feb. 18, 1955, in French Camp, Calif., daughter of Chuck and Mabel Walker Qualls. She and Gary Lee Couchman were married May 29, 1992, in Piggott, Ark.
She loved cooking and the outdoors. She was a caretaker of her Aunt Mem.
Survivors include her husband, Gary of the home; two sons, Paul of Las Vegas, Nev., and Gary Lee Jr. of the home; a daughter, Cara Jo of the home; a brother, Bud; two sisters, Julie and Linda of California; several nieces and nephews; and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Gloria Qualls.
Graveside services are 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, at Boone Creek Cemetery with Dr. James Miller and Father Dan officiating. Cremation was under the direction of Fox Funeral Home.
