Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon will travel today to Houston to tour a Houston employer and talk about the creation of new jobs.
Nixon is expected to meet with executives of Air Evac at their Spruce Street facility, tour the plant and talk about jobs and new investment at about 1:15 p.m.
Air Evac opened an accounting office in Houston in spring 2009.
Air Evac Lifeteam is a membership-supported air ambulance company that provides emergency care and rapid medical transport to rural communities throughout the central U.S. The company operates 90 bases in 14 states and is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems.
