Lt. George W. Arnold

A new lieutenant has been assigned to Troop G of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

George W. Arnold was promoted Aug. 1 to the rank of lieutenant and assigned to Troop G as the District 2 operations lieutenant. Arnold is a 15-year veteran with the patrol.

Arnold was appointed to the patrol on Nov. 1, 1994, as a member of the 68th recruit class. Upon graduating, he was assigned to Troop F, Zone 7, in Howard and Cooper counties. In October 1997, he transferred from Troop F to Troop I, Rolla, where he was assigned to Zone 5, Laclede County. Arnold was promoted to corporal in October 2002 and designated the assistant zone supervisor of Zone 1, Phelps County, and to sergeant in January 2005, and designated zone supervisor of Zone 1, Phelps County.

Arnold is a native of Stoutland. He graduated from Stoutland R-II High School in 1986. He earned an associate’s degree in applied science from Central Texas College in 1991.

Arnold and his wife, Kristina (Brandt), have three children: Kelsi, Kori and Gage.
