A Houston banker recently completed schooling at the Graduate School of Banking in Colorado.
Eric Wells, president of Lankmark Bank, finished the intensive 25-month banking program that provides senior management and leadership training for community bank professionals.
The school is on the University of Colorado at Boulder campus. Students enrolled are recognized by their organization as a rising star.
Students receive a diploma upon successfully completing six weeks of classroom training focusing on general management, lending, leadership, financial and human resource management. Requirements also include comprehensive examinations, intersession research projects and participation in a bank management simulation course designed to provide students with experience in managing a bank.
Wells was among 135 graduates last month.
