Red and black were the colors this weekend as Houston High School and the Houston Alumni Association sponsored homecoming activities.

An alumni mixer attracted a crowd to Hiett Gymnasium as HHS grads reflected on their school days, thumbed through photo albums and viewed some of the art of Audrey Bandy, which was sold at a silent auction.

On Saturday, many classes held reunions in Houston and Raymondville. The class of 1980 traveled to Rolla.

A two-page section on homecoming will appear in this week’sHerald.
