The Houston Middle School volleyball teams lost their respective season-opening matches Monday to Liberty.
The eighth grade Lady Tigers were defeated 25-7, 25-15. Hayley Walker was the high scorer.
The seventh grade lost to Liberty 25-10, 25-6. Sammy Garrett was the high scorer.
