A woman whose vehicle was loaded with narcotics and drug paraphernalia in Houston faces charges.

Texas County Prosecutor Mike Anderson charged Shannon M. Lawrence, 39, of Winona, with possession of a controlled substance, a felony; and two misdemeanors, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana.

Bond was set at $75,000.

Police said they found several drugs, empty syringes and loaded syringes containing a clear liquid substance, surgical tubing, marijuana, cotton swabs, a bent metal serving spoon, a pill crusher and alcohol wipes on Aug. 14.

The pills were mixed and contained in several plastic containers and cellophane wrappers in her purse.
