A Houston man sustained injuries Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle crash south of Rolla.

Cpl. Jeremie Keathley of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said Roy M. “Butch” Burch, 61, of Houston was traveling southbound on a 2000 Harley Davidson Electra Glide when he observed a vehicle in a driveway that was moving toward U.S. 63. Keathley said Burch attempted to avoid it and began skidding across the center of the roadway and overturned. The motorcycle traveled off the left side of the roadway and came to rest.

Burch was treated by a Phelps County Regional Medical Center ambulance crew, but refused transport.
