Police are seeking charges against two persons for a burglary Saturday at a downtown Houston business.
Officers were called after an alarm sounded early evening at Double R Pawn on Grand Avenue. When they arrived, lawmen found a large rock had been used to break glass in the right front door.
Two persons – a husband and wife – who are tenants at a First Street residential care facility admitted their involvement in taking about $564 in cash. The pair said the man, 21, entered the building while his wife, 35, acted as a look out.
The residential center’s caretakers said they witnessed the pair return with a backpack that contained gloves, a hat and a plastic “Jason” mask.
