Ethel Trout

Ethel Nadine Trout, 88, died Monday, Oct. 5, 2010, in Springfield.

She was born Dec. 12, 1921, in Houston, daughter of James and Maudie Richison. She and Charles W. Trout were married July 3, 1937.

She and her husband moved to California in 1947. She was a housewife until they retired in 1983 and moved to Edgar Springs.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; and a brother, Eugene Richison.

Survivors include five children, Shirley Miller and Sylvia Caraway of Licking, James Trout and Rick Trout of Taft, Calif., and Martha Robbins of Derby Acres, Calif.; four sisters, Opal Blair of Taft, Calif., Mandy and Elmer Harlan of Taft, Calif., and Mary Edgar of Overland; 18 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services were Saturday, Oct. 9, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Fred Hamilton officiating. Burial was in Trout Cemetery.
