The Houston Police Department is investigating vandalism on the Houston School District campus.
Officers were called Sept. 29 to Houston High School, where windows had apparently been broken by projectiles from a BB gun.
In other matters, police:
-Cited Larry K. Hebblethwaite, 59, of Houston, with failure to yield the right-of-way following an Oct. 3 accident near South Sam Houston Blvd. and Taco Bell’s driveway. The other driver was Sean M. Conway, 18, of Columbia.
-Charged Clorena J. Smith, 18, and Jason R. King, 25, of West Plains, with stealing under $500 at Houston Walmart Supercenter on Sept. 27. Taken were five dog collars worth $26.
-Cited Crystal E. Hayes, 51, of 705 W. Highway 17, with failing to drive on the right half of the roadway on Sept. 29. Hayes pulled from West Highway Plaza onto Highway 17 and crossed the centerline when the vehicle was struck by another driven by Martha E. Rogers, 46, of Success.
-Cited George T. Bone, 34, of 609 S. First, with failing to register a motor vehicle on Oct. 2.
-Charged Amanda M. Houston, 22, of Bucyrus, on charges of failure to register motor vehicle annually with Missouri Department of Revenue on Oct. 2.
-Christopher M. Baker, 36, of 510 W. Chestnut St., Apt. 14, with failing to contact the county sheriff’s department as part of a sexual offender requirement on Sept. 27.
Police said windows were broken at Houston High School by a BBgun.
