The Houston Alumni Association will exam results from a recent survey to determine opinions related to its annual homecoming event.
Officials said 78 people completed questionnaires from the homecoming held last month.
The results: date of alumni weekend – HHS weekend, 57 percent; first weekend in October, 33 percent.
Expanded mixer, 79 percent; and mixer and banquet separated, 15 percent.
Music program, yes, 30 percent; no, 10 percent; and no opinion, 60 percent.
“We appreciated the efforts of everyone who made the homecoming weekend a success,” said Bonnie McElroy, president. “We will analyze the survey to help make better plans for next year’s activities.
She said anyone having suggestions is invited to attend the group’s meetings at 7 p.m. the fourth Monday of each month at the First Baptist Church library. Persons also can contact volunteers McElroy, Paul Ice, Sandy Craven, Kay Honeycutt, Callie Manier, Sandra Manier, Terry and Sharon Holder, Terry Flowers, Bob Bryson, Sidney Ann Bridges, Norman Epperson, Linda Hall, Rowena Moore, Lana Bucher, Roger Holder, Jimmilee Prouty, Rose Ward and Carrie Pierce.
