Dianna Sue Heiney Barton Dawes, 43, died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010, in a vehicle accident in Dixon.
She was born March 17, 1967, in Houston, daughter of Daniel Thomas and Edna Marie Headrick Heiney.
She spent most of her childhood in Hartshorn and attended school in Summersville. She loved to visit and spend time with family and friends. She collected angels and gave handmade flower arrangements to loved ones.
She moved to the Dixon area in 2000.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Vernon Heiney; an infant sister, Mary Louise; and her son, Ivan Lee.
Survivors include three sons, Kenneth Daniel, Cory Wayne and James Robert of the home; three grandchildren; a fiancee’ Kenny Wagner; seven siblings, Mona Lewis and Ivan Heiney of Eunice, Joyce Franklin of Yukon, Daniel Heiney of Houston, Vera Franklin of Willow Springs, Jim Heiney of Licking and Robert Heiney of Winona.
Services were Saturday, Nov. 6, at Bradford Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Steelman officiating. Burial was in Black Pond Cemetery.
