A Muscular Dystrophy Association event netted about ,000 in Houston.

Houston’s annual Muscular Dystrophy Association lock-up raised more than $6,000 at the Nov. 9 event inside Miller’s Grill.

Forty-two people played the role of “jailbirds” at the three-hour event. Dr. Jack Montgomery of United Methodist Church and Chief Scott Lindsey of the Licking Police Department were the bailmakers.

The Greater Ozarks Area Chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association thanked Miller’s Grill and KOLR 10 for its support.
