This 2010 version of the Houston Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual “Taste of Christmas” was Saturday.
The event features food tasting and competition by categories hosted at businesses around Houston.
Winners are determined by the tasting public, who are welcome to submit votes at each food station.
Stations included Landmark Bank (appetizers, closes at noon), Aaron’s Sales and Leasing (brownies), Untangled (Cakes), the Houston Herald (candy), Quick Cash (cheese balls), Russell Cellular (cinnamon rolls), Neal’s Sporting Goods (cookies), Paws ‘n’ Claws (cupcakes), Community Bank (dips, closes at noon), Forbes’ Pharmacy (fudge), Orscheln Farm and Home (jams and jellies), Houston Dollar Shoppe (jerky and summer sausage), The Lion and the Lamb Christian Counseling (muffins), Neugebauer Flooring (pies), D & L Florist (salsa) and Jaz Trophies, Awards and Gifts (trail mix).
