Houston police responded to a structure fire and issued several citations during the last week.
Officers:
-Cited Timothy M. King, 41, 810 Augusta, with second-degree trespassing on Nov. 24. He was arrested after being told earlier not to visit property on West Highway 17.
-Charged Joshua R. Maddox, 26, of 1212 Thomasville Road, with DWI and exceeded the speed limit on Nov. 21.
-Charged Mary L. Skouby, 74, of 602 Ozark, with operating a motor vehicle while license revoked and failure to exhibit an insurance identification card on Nov. 23.
-Arrested Chad R. Dishmon, 40, of 625 W. Highway 17, on a warrant from the City of Houston charging him with DWI. He posted $1,000 bond on Nov. 24.
-Cited Timothy M. King, 41, of 810 Augusta, with peace disturbance after police said he was playing music loudly in the middle of the night. He was later committed for a 96-hour mental review on Nov. 25.
-Were called Saturday to the Bruce Cantrell residence, 1329 Airport Road, where a 10 x 16 foot building was on fire, apparently caused by grass burning done earlier. The building was full of ammunition, 15-20 high-powered scopes, two-three weapons, new boxes of Leopold Basis, about 40 slings, gun powder and other assorted supplies needed for a gun shop, according to a report. The building and contents appeared to be a total loss.
