Houston’s Nick Portincaso and Drake Bell represented the Tigers on the all-SCA football team.
Portincaso, a senior, was selected as a second team offensive lineman. He was also among the team leaders in tackles as a linebacker.
Bell, a sophomore, received honorable mention at defensive back. Offensively, he was the team’s starting tailback.
Liberty’s Daniel Porter was named the conference’s back of the year. Bryan Tate of Thayer was selected lineman of the year. Liberty’s Darin Acklin was named coach of the year.
