The Texas County Sheriff’s Department is investigating illegal drug activity at Bucyrus.
Information was received regarding possible methamphetamine production at a residence on Highway 38. Several officers responded and found many items commonly used in manufacturing meth. A .22-caliber revolver was also found inside a child’s stuffed bear.
The gun, some ammunition and many of the drug-related items were seized as evidence, while other drug items were properly disposed of.
One of the home’s residents, a 39-year-old man, was arrested at the scene. Three others were to be located for questioning.
