Texas County’s unemployment rate increased two-tenths of a percentage point in November, the Missouri Department of Economic Development reported. The figure stood at 9.5 percent.
The average in south-central Missouri was 9.2 percent.
Area counties and their jobless rates were: Douglas, 8.3; Howell, 8.6; Shannon, 12.4; and Wright, 10.2.
