Donna Lou Curtis, 71, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010.
She was born Nov. 4, 1939, in Blooming Rose, daughter of Robert Jessee and Margaret Caroline Buckner Williams.
She worked at the Lee Company until she retired in 1999 following 24 years of service. She was a member of the Roby Rural Fire Department.
She enjoyed spending time with family, friends and neighbors. She loved fishing, especially at Montauk, weekend shopping trips and quite time at family gatherings. She attended ballgames of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include a sister, Shelba Curtis of Plato; two sons, Lonnie Ray Curtis and Mark Allen Curtis of the home; a daughter, Nancy Dee Medlock of Success; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were Wednesday, Dec. 15, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Judy Routh officiating. Burial was in Mitchell Cemetery.
