The City of Houston is poised to further expand a housing repair program.

The City of Houston has won $88,000 from the Missouri Housing Development Commission’s Home Repair Opportunity (HeRO) program, which help repair, rehabilitate and make more accessible private housing in the community.

Houston earlier received an additional $44,000 under the agency’s program.

Persons interested in submitting an application for work to their property can contact Campbell at Houston City Hall. It is on a first-come, first-served basis. Requirements are: You must have lived in the home for at least three years and be below Texas County and Missouri income guidelines: one person, $25,650; two persons, $29,300; and three persons, $33,000.
