Three Mountain View teenagers are suspected of swiping Christmas decorations from three area communities, including Houston businesses and a residence.
Houston Police Chief Jim McNiell traveled to Mountain View on Friday to recover the items, which were swiped locally from an Ozark Avenue home and three local businesses. McNiell said a three-foot star was identified as belonging to the City of Cabool, and a deer had been taken from Willow Springs.
McNiell said three teenage boys — ages 16, 17 and 18 — are believed to have stolen the items. All three are students at Mountain View-Liberty High School. McNiell said charges are pending.
Some recovered decorations have not been claimed. The investigation continues.
