A Roby man received moderate injuries Friday morning when his vehicle went out-of-control on Highway 32 and struck a tree.
Tpr. Terry Nelson of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2009 Toyota Corolla driven westbound by Riley J. Frost, 79, ran off the ice-covered roadway about one mile east of Plato before colliding with the tree.
Frost, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was taken to St. John’s Hospital in Lebanon by ambulance.
The vehicle was totaled, Nelson said.
