Russell Eugene Shawhan, 85, son of Russell and Florence (Lawrey) Shawhan, was born Nov. 18, 1925, in Rosedale, Kan. He passed away Dec. 3, 2010, at the Missouri Baptist Hospital, under Hospice care, in Sullivan, Mo., after a battle with Alzheimer’s.

Russell loved to talk and kid with folks. He will be missed by those who knew and cared for him.
He was cremated and will be inurned at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., at a later date.
