Texas County authorities were called to investigate several incidents in the last week.

The following are summaries of incidents dealt with last week by the Texas County Sheriff’s Department.

Dec. 6

–A Plato man called from his Robin Drive residence to report a fight at his neighbor’s house. An investigating officer spoke with the neighbors and determined that everything was OK.

Dec. 9

–An officer responded to a possible domestic problem at a Pointer Drive home in Houston. The officer determined that a child had called 911 as a prank.

–A Missouri Division of Children’s Services worker called for assistance regarding a possible child molestation case involving a 6-year-old girl. The investigating officer went to the victim’s residence in Licking and spoke to the girl’s parents. The girl’s father told the officer that his daughter had told him that her uncle (the father’s brother) had molested her while the family was at her grandfather’s house. The case was to be sent to the prosecuting attorney’s office.

Dec. 12

–An officer responded to a Houston home on Stillman Road to assist an ambulance that was there to pick up a possibly suicidal female.
