A Summersville man faces numerous charges following his arrest Monday by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

A Summersville man faces several charges following his arrest Monday night in Shannon County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

James A. VanWinkle, 33, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner involving an accident, operated a motor vehicle while license revoked, misdemeanor driving while intoxicated – drugs, possession of revoked driver’s license and possession of a controlled substance.

He was taken to the Shannon County Jail, according to a patrol report.
