Two Summersville residents were injured Sunday afternoon in a two-car crash on U.S. 60 about seven miles east of Willow Springs, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Tpr. Brad Odle of the patrol said a southbound 1994 Chevrolet driven by Rhonda L. Lee, 37, attempted to cross U.S. 60 and pulled into the path of a westbound 2004 Ford operated by Cindy L. Porter, 38, of Birch Tree, striking it in the passenger side.

Lee and passenger, Ryan D. Lee, 17, were taken by private vehicle to St. Francis Hospital in Mountain View with minor injuries. All were wearing seat belts, Odle said.

The vehicles sustained extensive damage, Odle said.
