Inez Sellers, 90, died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2010, at Texas County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Jan. 30, 1920, in Dalzell, Ill., daughter of Gacomo and Mary Bernaidoni Giorgi. She and Herbert Lloyd Sellers were married Jan. 3, 1940, in Iowa.

She grew up and went to school in Ottawa, Ill. In 1949, she and her husband moved to California and lived in various cities in the state for the next 28 years. She worked as a seamstress for Knotts Berry Farm, Saks Fifth Avenue and Caribbean Cruise Line. In 1997, she moved to Buffalo to be near her daughter.

She enjoyed crafts, sewing, dancing and playing cards. She served with the Friends of the Library and played cards in several card groups. She moved to Houston in 2008 to live with her daughter. She served with the Texas County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, belonged to the Red Hats and attended Garden Club meetings. In her later years, she liked to watch cowboy shows on television and she loved to eat at local restaurants.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herbert; a daughter, Janet Ellyce in 1956; and three brothers, Peter Giorgi, Aldo Giorgi and Arthur Giorgi.

Survivors include a daughter, Judi Tomlinson of Houston; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Memorial services are 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7, at Houston United Methodist Church with Pastor Tom Tomlinson officiating. Cremation was under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
