There were no new filings this week for various office in the county.
Voters will fill slots in April for city, school and township boards, along with Texas County Memorial Hospital board.
Filings are: City of Houston – Don Tottingham, mayor; Charles “Chalky” Wells and Phillip Meyer, Ward II; Sharon Sillyman, Ward I; and David Arthur, Ward III.
Texas County Memorial Hospital – Omanez Fockler of Houston.
Texas County Health Department – Sally Smith of Houston joins Diane Ingalls of Plato.
Houston board of education – incumbents Tom Dunn and Jo Holland.
Filings close Jan. 18.
