Chloe Morning scored 10 points and Sarah Kelley added nine as the Houston seventh grade girls completed their season last Thursday with a 27-5 romp of Mountain Grove.
Houston led 11-2 at the half and by 20 points entering the fourth quarter.
The Lady Tigers finished with a 12-3 record, including a first-place finish at the Liberty Tournament.
“These kids play hard,” Houston coach John Jordan said. “I am looking forward to having them back.”
Eighth grade: Megan Silveus and Kylee Elmore scored six points apiece in the Lady Tigers’ 22-16 season-ending loss Thursday to Mountain Grove.
Nora Dixon added four points for the Lady Tigers.
“We didn’t finish the year winning as many games as we would have liked, but I was proud of the kids,” Jordan said. “I never thought we gave up under any circumstance. I look forward to seeing their progress in high school.”
