A two-day youth season ended Sunday with 16 deer killed in Texas County, the Missouri Department of Conservation said.

The breakdown was: bucks, three; button bucks, two; and does, 11.

The statewide total was 1,292.

The top three counties in the state were: Osage, 27; Macon, 26; and Adair, 24.
