Hartville outscored the Houston Tigers 20-9 in the opening quarter Friday night en route to a 55-40 victory.

After falling behind early, the Tigers (2-14) got within three points at the half. But Hartville outscored Houston by five and seven points in the final two quarters to pull away.

Sophomore Weston Walker had a team-best 15 points and hit the team’s lone 3-pointer. Cory Scheets scored eight points and freshman Aaron Cantrell added seven.

Houston’s game Tuesday at Salem was postponed due to inclement weather.

The Tigers’ game Tuesday at Salem has been postponed until Feb.10. Friday’s game at Mountain Grove is postponed until Feb. 17.
