Junior Haylee Kell was crowned the 2011 Houston High School hoop queen during Friday night’s ceremony inside Hiett Gymnasium.
Kell received her crown from outgoing queen Lyndsay Tarrants. She was escored by freshman Devin Coulter.
Senior Jennifer Belew was the first runner-up. Freshman Mariah Clifton was the second runner-up.
Following the ceremony, Liberty defeated the Houston Tigers 81-47.
