The Missouri State Highway Patrol investigated a two-car accident Monday that involved two men from Licking.
The 5:30 p.m. accident occurred 10 miles south of Rolla on U.S. 63 when a 1992 Chevrolet S-10 driven southbound by Kyle A. Rector, 22, of Licking, slowed and was rear-ended by a 2011 Ford F-250 driven by James P. Freeman, 35, of Edgar Springs.
A passenger in the S-10, Thomas M. Rector, 30, of Licking, sustained minor injuries, but opted to seek his own treatment. All three men were wearing seat belts; both vehicles received minor damage and were driven from the scene, the patrol said.
