U.S. Rep. Jo Ann Emerson will visit Licking on Wednesday to check in on the faculty and staff at the Texas County Memorial Hospital Clinic there.
Emerson will be at the clinic, located at 233 S. Main St., from 3:15-4:15.
“The Texas County Memorial Hospital clinic really shows the reach of our rural health care providers. We rely on their presence in our Southern Missouri region, and they really follow through with affordable quality health care in rural areas where it can be quite expensive to provide,” Emerson said. “The Licking clinic and its excellent staff are extremely important to creating positive health outcomes in our rural region, and I am very glad we have such a resource in our community.”
