Mason Hinkle, of Marshfield, recently finished first at the Lonestar Kart Nationals in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Hinkle set the pole in the time trials, won the heat race and took home first place in his division.
Hinkle is the son of Matt and Karla Hinkle. He is the grandson of Lonnie and Roxie McGowen and Corky and Debbie Hinkle of Houston.
