Officers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol made several arrests in Texas County.

A Poplar Bluff man was arrested last Thursday morning by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Eric C. Buffington, 30, was taken to the Douglas County Jail on charges of speeding, failure to register motor vehicle, misdemeanor Carter County warrant for speeding and misdemeanor Douglas County warrant for driving while revoked.

A Salem man was arrested last Thursday by the patrol on two felony charges.

Charles E. Miriani, 44, was taken to the Texas County Jail and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and failing to register as a sex offender.

A Licking man is held without bond in Dent County following his arrest last Thursday night by the patrol.

Jettie H. Venker, 41, was arrested on a felony warrant for failure to appear in Sweetwater County, Wyo., no valid driver’s license, no proof of insurance and no seat belt.

An Elk Creek man was arrested last Wednesday by the patrol on DWI and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway charges.

Kenneth H. Hall, 52, was taken to the Texas County Jail and released, according to a report.

A Raymondville man was arrested last Wednesday night by the patrol.

Edward A. Eaves, 58, was taken to the Texas County Jail and released following charges of DWI, careless and imprudent driving and no registration on vehicle.
