A Raymondville man was seriously injured in a single-vehicle accident at about 7:10 p.m. Wednesday.
Roy L. Nelson, 43, was a passenger in a 1988 Ford Ranger being driven southbound on Highway K three miles north of Summersville by Edward A. Eaves, 58, also of Raymondville. According to a Missouri State Highway patrol report, the truck traveled off the right side of the roadway, Eaves overcorrected and the vehicle overturned and came to rest on the right side of the road.
Nelson was transported by Texas County EMS to Texas County Memorial Hospital.
Neither of the truck’s occupants was wearing a seat belt.
